Just checking on Kristen to see if she is OK. Saw on the news the other day that Surf City got 9 inches of rain and it wasn't even a tropical storm! Dave in Goldsboro

Hi Dave!! Thanks!! We're good here, but I had to cancel training lessons because my car doesn't swim ;-)

It's all good now, um...but maybe should have cleaned the yard from dog doo doo before the rains...

On the other hand, the surf has been awesome. Clean lines, nice waves. And a bit cooler so we could actually take the dogs to the beach in the middle of the afternoon instead of before sunrise.

How are you guys doing over there? Is it cooler yet??

Cheers,

Kirsten

Great to read you all survived the downpour! It's been a Summer to remember! I think we have had 90+ temps ever since June started with hardly a let up or cool down! The dogs hungout in the yard for only brief periods then came inside the AC house. I'm glad I got a new heat pump system for the downstairs 2 years ago, it kept us cool but Progress Energy made a bundle of dough from us this Summer! Looking forward to cooler temps!

yes - it's been quite hot this summer! ...and just to clarify the dogs here are happily indoor dogs. They lost outdoor status once we moved out of AK :-)

It's cooler here today. A brief reprieve from the humidity. I hope you guys catch some of this weather over there.

Kirsten

Kirsten, did you get much snow yesterday and today in Surf City, NC? Goldsboro got 4 inches of wet snow last night and most is gone by this evening. Dogs got to play in it this morning and had lots of fun!
